Now, sure, the variable 10-120Hz ProMotion display on iPhone 13 Pro is a treat. You can certainly notice the difference from a 60Hz iPhone/Android display while scrolling through the UI and while gaming (if the game supports 120Hz, which isn't as common as you'd expect).
Both displays offer excellent pixel density at 458ppi, and just as before the 5.8" iPhone 11 Pro screen has 1125 x 2436 px resolution, while the iPhone 11 Pro Max 6.5" panel offers 1242 x 2688 px
All iPhone 11 models have locked 60Hz screens, the same as all iPhones before them. 90Hz and 120Hz screens are becoming more common in smartphones, but they are not present on the iPhone 11. Does Iphone 11 Have 90hz. Some iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 series models have a 120Hz touch refresh rate, which means the screen refreshes 120 times per second
It's because of GPU idle clocks. Right now with windows 11 + nvidia whenever gpu clocks jump it causes huge dpc latency spike and stutter. Higher refresh can cause idle clocks to behave different since it puts more load on the gpu, if you set prefer high performance in nvidia control panel these will go away.
Keep in mind though high brightness and whatever your doing can cause the drain the phone doesn’t lock to 120hz so that should help it last a long time like it does for most. Turn off 120hz and you’ll have even more battery life. This goes for both my 13 and 14 pro max.
