I found it pretty useless imo since I finished the main game and all side quests/locations with lvl 46+ before moving to the DLC's. If you don't mind and don't care to lvl up 45 lvl, go ahead. It just makes a new high level character so you can jump right into those high level boss fights and the dlc.

Playing it for the first time at the minute. Love it. Its full of atmosphere, flavour and exploration is enjoyable in the extreme. Stealth is optional just like the past games, the lack of optional objectives encourages freedom in missions, combat is fleshed out and more complex than block-counter or button mashing like before.
